Maridell Templeton, Parenting Coordinator
Maridell
Templeton is a Dallas based lawyer who has been practicing family law in
Texas for more than 30 years. Because of her excellent communications
skills, tremendous common sense, and realistic approach to finding solutions
when helping individuals to resolve long-standing conflict, Maridell
Templeton has all the traits necessary to be a helpful and successful
parenting coordinator.
Maridell Templeton is fearless, insightful, realistic and
fair-minded, as evidenced by the many family custody cases in which she has
worked as Guardian ad Litem. She is a strategic thinker who maintains
an overall picture of a situation and helps others to stay focused on
essentials and to keep on track towards defined goals.
Maridell Templeton holds a bachelor's degree in psychology from Oklahoma
University and has completed a parenting coordinator course, as well as courses
in family violence dynamics training. She is board certified by the Texas
Board of Legal Specialization in family law. In addition, she has worked as a
district attorney handling Child Protective Services cases.
Maridell Templeton has often worked with parties who are
experiencing a high degree of conflict in their family law cases. She has
the confidence of both lawyers and judges as an experienced representative
of children in family law cases, including typical divorce cases, as well as
cases in which children have been forcibly removed from a home experiencing
parental conflict.
Maridell Templeton has the ability to be objective, a
capacity to remain totally independent, and an aptitude for making a candid
assessment of how behavior may be a contributing factor in a conflict. In
short, Maridell Templeton is highly qualified to be a Parenting Coordinator.
